What you're about to read about is how to use autoresponders correctly and how to create an automatic responder by using some very powerful software tips and techniques.
This article was written to answer some of the frequently asked questions and address common issues when it comes to using and implimenting autresponders and automatic responder software. As for me I had to spend hours researching this topic myself as there was limited resources available when I began my internet career.
Here a few ideas to get you started with your email automatic responder techniques
Pick at least 10 or more articles you've written that have a common theme and put them in an autoresponder series. Announce it on your site as an e-mail course or free subscription on the go.
If you have a page for related links, create a related links file and put it on automatic responder. This can be a one-page e-mail containing 15-30 links that are of interest to your visitors. Put your own promotional texts or information at the top, middle and bottom of the e-mail. This could also include such things as adsense ads or your affiliate partners.
Create a fun or quiz, put it up on your site and put the answers in an autoresponder that your visitors can request once they have finished the quiz. This way, you'll know the people who took your quiz. You might even send them a bonus prize for completing the quiz correctly.
Write reviews of books, music, e-books, sites, software or anything you can think of in your targeted niche and put each review (or related reviews) in an autoresponder. If what you are reviewing have affiliate programs, use your affiliate links in the autoresponder.
Run a contest on your site or e-zine, then have your visitors or subscribers send their responses to your autoresponder. This way, you won't have to worry about manually sending them a confirmation receipt every time they interact with your site..
If you've written 20 or more articles and you have them on separate autoresponder accounts, create a master list for your articles. In this master list, list the titles of your articles, their email automatic responder addresses and their short descriptions. You can then just promote this master list.
Put excerpts or free chapters of your e-book, book or paid e-mail courses in an autoresponder series, then include your follow up sales letters at the end.
If you're selling your own products, put your testimonials on autoresponder, along with the description of your products, an excerpt or a free chapter. This will increase your credibility.
Keep track of people who download your free e-book, e-report, or free software by putting their download links in an autoresponder. When you promote your free product, you can just promote the email automatic responder address.
Put links to your hidden pages on automatic responder. A hidden page could be the affiliate page where you have all the graphics, text links, promotional articles that interested affiliates can use. Let people know they can have free access to your affiliate page by requesting the autoresponder. This way, you can have a list of people who are interested in becoming your affiliates.
So what Do I use to manage mail autoresponder campaigns? I use software so all my subscribers remain confidential and are not saved on some third party web site. The software program is called Mailloop and it currently has seven of my websites on what I call email auto-pilot using this fantastic autoresponder.
Hopefully you have a better understanding of what techniques I use when working with autoresponders.
